It was about 2 miles up to the overlook where we stopped and hung out for most of the day.
I set up a slackline in the aspen stand right alongside the end of the trail.

Snowshoe hike on a warm day
Yesterday it was about 50°F here and we decided not to ski but to hike up McCoy Park. The park is a part of Beaver Creek Resort but there is no alpine skiing allowed there, only snowshoe and cross country skiing.
It was about 2 miles up to the overlook where we stopped and hung out for most of the day.
