We took the bikes the next day from Aspen north to Carbondale. We went 23.4 miles in 1hr 40min. Didn't have any time to stop and take pictures!

Day 6 - The Road Home

Driving into Colorado from the south was one of the most impressive sights of the entire trip. Seeing the Rocky Mountains again made us both happy to be back in the place we now call home.

We drove along the Arkansas River most of the way

Day 5

We drove to New Mexico to a little town called Villanueva somewhere between I-40 and I-25. The state park was similar to last night's because it was down in a canyon in a very flat landscape. Tons of trees and birds lived in the bottom near the river.

We set camp next to the river

Each site had a nice mud hut with a table inside, made for a nice place to have dinner.
