The views in the Great Smoky Mountains this time of year are absolutely breathtaking. These pictures are the best I could do to capture how green everything was. When we woke up the rain had stopped and it turned out to be a beautiful sunny day.
About 2.5 miles into a loop trail there is the popular waterfall called Rainbow Falls. It was a great place to stop and have lunch.
We camped another night in the park before continuing west
